People are often put in hard situations. It is not always simple to deal with continual stress, but there are practical tips that can make it easier. First, getting enough sleep is important because it helps the brain function better. Next, keeping a journal or writing down thoughts can help release tension. Other helpful practices include yoga or meditation to calm the mind and body, or talking to someone about one’s problems because that person may have some insights that will help come up with solutions. Finally, taking time for yourself by doing things you enjoy such as reading books, watching movies, listening to music, playing sports, etc., can be very beneficial.

What is resilience?

Resilience refers to an individual’s ability to bounce back from adversity. It involves maintaining positive emotions in spite of difficult circumstances. Resilient people are able to maintain a sense of optimism despite setbacks. They tend not to dwell on negative events but rather focus their attention on what they want to accomplish. This helps them cope better when faced with stressful situations.

Tips to build a strong resilient mindset

1. Create a sustainable routine. This will help you to feel grounded and less anxious about the future. You can do this by setting up your daily schedule, eating healthy food regularly, exercising at least 3 times per week, getting enough sleep every night, etc.

2. Be mindful. Mindfulness means being aware of yourself without judgment or criticism.

2. Reach out for help when you need it, rather than feeling like you have to do everything on your own. It is okay if you don’t know how to handle certain things in life. There are people who would be willing to lend their support. If you find that you cannot reach out for help, then try to make sure that you surround yourself with positive influences.

3. Take some time for yourself, even if it’s just 10 minutes of deep breathing or some yoga stretches.

4. Spend time with people who make you happy and remind you that life can be good again.

What to do when you're struggling

Don’t beat yourself up over the fact that you’ve made mistakes. You will always learn from them. The only thing that matters now is what you choose to do next.

Do not let negative thoughts take control of your mind. Instead, focus on all the things in your life that are going well. This may seem like a lot easier said than done but it really does work!

I would recommend finding a few people to talk to. One of the best things I’ve found is to talk to someone who you know has had similar experiences. It can be hard to find someone who will listen, but it’s worth it. Talking through these feelings helps them become less overwhelming and more manageable. You don’t have to share everything – just enough so they understand where you’re coming from.

Try writing down all of your thoughts on paper. It can be helpful to see things written out instead of having them swirling around inside your head.

Take care of yourself! Eat healthy foods that will give you energy and keep you feeling good.

You may not feel this way right now but there will come a day where you’ll look back at the past few months as an extremely dark period in your life. I hope that by reading these tips, you won’t let those feelings overwhelm you anymore. No one is immune to the hard moments in life.
