One of my awesome go to tools when managing a personal or work project is Trello. It can be used very easily on your phone or tablet using their dedicated app or using their desktop website. As their website trello.com says – “Trello’s boards, lists, and cards enable you to organize and prioritize your projects in a fun, flexible, and rewarding way.”

Trello is designed to help you stay organized at work and at home. You make what are called Boards to help manage your various projects and each board allows you to work on one task at a time. Basically a board is a collection of tasks.

The app allows for collaboration with coworkers and friends which makes it excellent for a work or family environment. Trello also comes with Google Drive, Dropbox, and Android Wear support. It’s completely free to use which makes it one of the awesome productivity apps.

There is a subscription plan, but I have been using it for years and have always used the free plan.

Update: Since writing this article I have moved to ClickUp for managing my projects in work and personal life – Trello is still great, but I found ClickUp to better suit my requirements. If you are looking for a project management tool, I recommend checking out ClickUp also. I wrote a post about it here.
